Strange sounds in my house?

My cat escaped for like a month .. A week ago we found her ... We took her to the vet to check if she is disease free. The vet then said she's supposed to be on heat now, or she is ready for pregnancy, we took her to another vet to breed her,but because am a new pet owner i didn't really know that the cat is supposed to be vocal to be on heat, the other vet told us to wait for a couple of days to see if she'd get on heat, and if not, there is a chance that she is pregnant, as her nipples are pink and busty, but the doctor said she could have been pregnant before and that would explain the nipples. Hey guys, I've been writing a book and I've already got a well thought out storyline and I'm even planning on making this a series in the future. Thin lines on 1 day old new 23inch monitor, help please?

Hi guys, just recently bought a new 23inch Samsung monitor a day ago. Initially I couldnt use the max resolution but that seems to work fine now after installing the latest driver today. Initially I also had wavy lines kind of transparent lines going up and down which were bigger/fatter, now they are really thin lines going up and down on the top part of the monitor. Dont notice any half way or or the bottom part of the monitor, I cant see any of the lines when a darker page is opened. When I have a page opened which is black or brown I dont see it AT ALL, notice it on the whiter/brighter pages. Not really that noticeable, but you do notice it after a while. The max resolution I can get is 1920x1080 which is what I want, but if I change it to the 2nd highest resolution I can get which is 1680x1050 then the wavy lines go away pretty much completely but I dont want that resolution as its less clear,sharp, kind of blotchy looking but the wavy lines do go away. Any ideas guys please as I just bought this monitor last night. Thanks

My car is leaking when starting to drive?

Animes like Death Note and Black Butler?

I hate to say it, but Death Note is the best anime. It's pretty much all downhill from there. You could try watching Code Geass, there's one or two kissing scenes but there isn't much real romance, and it is certainly not central to the plot. An older anime that I really enjoyed was Blood +, but that one has some romance within like the last two episodes of the series. If you want you could just skip the scenes. Anyway, if you liked anime a lot I would check out Code Geass. If not, then it's not worth continuing watching, since like I already said, Death Note is the best one.

Well, 9 years ago I got my first guinea pig from a little old local petshop. Now, I wished we'd gotten her brother, but that's not important. She's healthy, hardy, and seems to have a life-time contract! About 5 or 6 years ago we felt she was too lonely so we got her a friend. We had to go to Petco because it was the only place avaliable around where I live that sold another female guinea pig. She was a mess...always sick and in fact the said a vet had checked her that afternoon and gave her a clean bill of health. She was sick, it was obvious. One of the girls that worked there was fond of the little girlie and told us the store was going to put her down if no one bought her today (this was after we bought her) because they didn't want to risk infection of the other animals...at the time I was thinking "Okay, well they are just trying to prevent illness" but now I'm thinking "What the **** is wrong with them?" I didn't know about all these bad things Petco had down (the articles about them buying all those poor cruelly treated animals and then backfiring for MONEY!!!)!! 6 months ago we got two more...why? I dont know! My sister persisted that petco doesnt do anything wrong! In the cage there were two other sick guinea pigs (there were obvious signs) but we got two anyways and a different girl said "Aww I'm gonna miss these guys, they were the good ones" like....umm...excuse me? What in the world is that supposed 2 mean? The manager also assured us all animals are checked by the vet and given a clean bill of health, when we asked about the others. I wanted to get the others, for the sake that I couldn't leave the poor things, but unfortunately didnt. I no longer support PetCo in buying live animals and refuse to support them whatsoever. But my friends only support shelter animals, as I always have (I volunteer) but when they ask where I got my animals I always dodge the questions because I don't want them to know that I supported Petco. I feel so bad that I bought them, but sort of good because some people buy them to feed them to their snakes or they could've just been put down in the back of the store. Can I remove a cemented post & crown and re-cement it?

My post and crown fell out last night. I cleaned, rinsed and dried both crown and area where the root canal had been performed. I used a packet of dental cement I'd gotten from my dentist 3 or 4 years ago when the initial work was done (a 2-part expoxy like cement). Unfortunately, I did not seat the crown correctly and my bite is off. It is driving me crazy. The dentist who did the work is no longer around and I do not have dental insurance or money to pay for fixing this. Is there a way for me to dissolve/remove the cement and try re-cementing it? I had put the crown back in (before putting cement on) to make sure the fit was correct and I would be able to cement it in place correctly without any issues - not sure if there was a bit of cement in the way or I worked too slowly that cement dried as I was inserting the posts/crown but definitely off. Afraid of doing damage to other teeth, jaw or tongue due to incorrect lineup. Any suggestions?

We have a mac (one of the newer, non-portable ones) and last Summer it wouldn't turn on. As in, it was all fine one day, and then the next day it just had no power. We had to send it away to be fixed for 8 weeks until we finally got it back. This, unfortunately, has happened again yesterday and our computer has been sent away...again. I always thought that macs were supposed to be such good quality but I've had a Toshiba as long as the mac and have had zero problems with it whereas our mac has now been sent away for repairs twice in less than a year. Did we just happen to get the one faulty mac or are any of you having this problem?

I have a friend checked as 'auto' on my gchat. They are offline (they have an x next to their name) or are invisible to me. And yet in the span of a few minutes, their name disappears from my chat list and then reappears. This happens frequently, with them being off or on my list for period of time, and I haven't noticed it happen as much or at all for anyone else. It seems fishy -- as though when their name appears they are actually online, but invisible, and when the name disappears they are truly offline. But gchat isn't supposed to be that transparent, you aren't supposed to be able to tell the difference between someone being offline and someone being invisible. Husband and I Separating, Military?

I'm having trouble finding a bra that works for me?

Sounds like a stye in ur eye to me Wich is basically an ingrown eye lash if I'm not mistaken. They wont always be red. A good thing for that is a hot tea bag. I usually heat a cup of hot water and dunk the tea bag in it and let it sit in my eye until its not hot anymore just don't make it too hot to where it scolds you. Make it hot enough to stand but not burn. This helps with the swelling and discomfort. Hope this helps. Even if its not a stye it will still help with swelling ad discomfort.

Editing gifs in photoshop 7?

I have a fairly outdated version of photoshop (I mean, it comes with imageready... that should tell you something) and I've been working on making graphics. Unfortunately creating adjustment layers isn't an option for this version and I was wondering if there's a way to make gifs brighter with photoshop 7. would I have to tweak each frame individually to get the saturation/brightness/etc I want or is there something I've just been missing? Why am I so tired after a minor operation?

I had a tummy tuck with double hernia and muscle repair 11 months ago. I unfortunately had a bad bleed which resulted in me being rushed back to theatre for an emergency operation to fix it. As my surgeon had to go in quickly it left me with lumps on both ends of my scar. It took me 5 months to feel normal again, even the slightest thing made me tired for ages. I went back to my surgeon 4 days ago and under local he corrected the lumps and the incision was extended by about 2 inches either side.. As the local wore off the incisions became quite painful and I've become totally exhausted ever since. I feel tired all day and although I'm in pain from the surgery its obviously nowhere near as bad as last time and I didn't even have a general. Is it normal to feel this tired after something quite minor?

Is this much pain normal?

I am 24 weeks 3 days pregnant with my first. I'm having horrible lower back pain if I lay on my back for 20 or 30 minutes at a time. When I go to stand up it HURTS! I don't really feel pregnant, except for a bigger belly and bouncing baby, instead I feel like I just turned 90! Ugh! So, is this much pain this early in my back normal? I have a doctor's appointment in 2 weeks, so I will definitely mention it to him on the 28th. Also, not sure if this has anything to do with the pain, but, I'm busty. Started pregnancy in a DD and now I'm almost an E. :[

Deck boards are seeping sticky pine tar?

4 years ago sealed the deck with Thompson's Water Seal. 3 years ago sealed it with Cabot's transparent stain. This year sealed it with Cabot's Semi-transparent stain. In 3 places the pine tar is still seeping out in droplets. It sticks to your shoes. Any ideas? I have tried to scrap it off- then use a solvent. that worked for a while now it is back.

Can I get my puppy deposit back?

We have a $500 (non-refundable) deposit down on a Siberian Husky puppy. Unfortunately recently my boyfriend and I have decided not to stay together. Dreams- Need help understanding whats going on.?

Please don't comment unless you have useful information about this subject. Everyone dreams, and people have a lot of different ones But mine are not your usual dreams. Ever since I was little I've noticed something weird happening when i would dream. I can control my dream, not the scenario or the plot or anything, but just like i can type right now because I want too, so too in the dream i could. Just like if it were real life I could maneuver, and do what i wanted to, go where i wanted to go. Not only that i could think logically, determine right from wrong, and so forth. I can not only see, and hear in my dreams but taste, smell, and even feel. I could feel everything, even pain. When these type of dreams occur it happens mostly the same way every time. I start off just like anyone else, your dream self goes and does what it wants with you having no control of it but then(and this is hard to explain), I sort of see myself in third person only for a brief moment before i go inside my body. I see a sort of clear and transparent barrier right before I enter inside my body, once I enter though I can realize it and know I'm their, I'll test it out by trying to control my movement and thoughts. After that I know I'm dreaming but I feel as if I'm awake. As the dream progresses I begin to forget what's real and what's not, so over the years I have came up with a way when for when I dream and some what tell. And it's a simple solution, I just use what I know from the awake self and say how or why it doesn't correlate to what is happening right now. But this isn't what scares me, it's the pain I feel. It feel just as real as if i were to happen in the real world or my awake self. So i have been trying to suppress my dreaming. Now for those of you who don't know you dream every night but you don't remember every dream, some nights you don't remember any. So that's what I mean by suppressing my dreams, I'm just making it to where I don't remember them cause they were not a big enough dream, by doing that I don't have time to be inside my dream. However lately, when I do dream it's getting harder and harder to wake up. Nothing that you would normally do to wake yourself up works. In order for me to wake up, I have to find specific spots in my dream so i can wake up. But the spots are random and I never know where to go, and when I have nightmare it is worst. Someone shaking me and my alarm clock going doesn't always wake me anymore, and I'm getting enough sleep, it only happens when i dream and I'm able to control it. I just need some help. Preparing the soil and garden for planting?

I moved into a new house last winter and was delighted to hear it had a huge garden in the backyard. Unfortunately, once the snow melted I was disappointed to find it in awful shape. I have fixed the stones around the edges and removed all the garbage and such but once it got the slightest bit warm it exploded with weeds of every sort. I have almost gotten rid of all the weeds to find that they're is a huge ant problem and the soil isn't very good qaulity anymore. Will mixing in some compost make the soil better?And whats a pesticide free way to get rid of the ants? I'm planning to plant all vegetables so I don't want to use any dangerous chemicals. im going to be a junior next year, i just moved to a different city the second semester of my sophomore year. i joined an AAU team for the basketball off season and have been playing with players all over the city. im good at basketball and unfortunately the current high school i go to sucks at basketball. i have been told by a coach that coaches one of the best basketball school in the city, he told me if i go to his school they can go to state next year. my problem is that i dont know if i should stay at the school im at and be the one that carries the team and get lots of stats, or go to a school that is good and not have as much stats as i would if i were to go to the school that sucks???
